Islamic Sites Containing False Information About Islam Please spread this information

To all the Muslim brothers and sisters around the world

A Muslim somewhere in the world could be receiving false information about Islam. So prevent that from happening. PLEASE! Beware of the following websites:

www.answering-islam.org

www.aboutislam.com

www.thequran.com

www.allahassurance.com

These sites have been developed by Jews. Who Intentionally are spreading wrong information about the QURAN , the HADITH and ISLAM itself.

Please spread this information

To all the Muslim brothers and sisters around the world. The list of traced anti- Islamic websites, about Islam are:

1. http://www.islamreview.com/

This site has posted fake stories of how Muslims converted to Christianity. How do I know? Read the following excerpt from one of the stories:

First the 'convert' says: (emphasis added). In the end, I managed to convince my mother, as it was for Allah and I joined the Islamic College. Having graduated as an ustaz, I was soon posted to my neighbourhood…

And then:

My trip to Mecca for the Haj (pilgrimage) was tiring but eventful. I did not have the rare opportunity to see inside the holy Kabah and the holy idols inside, which Prophet Muhammud had helped to place, as explained in Bukhari's Hadith

An Ustaz (scholar) in Islaamic Studies is saying that there are idols inside the Kabah and that too placed by Muhammad (saw) himself!?!?! This clearly shows that the author is deliberately trying to spread misinformation about Islaam and wants to convey to possible reverts to Islaam that it is religion of idol worship.

In fact most of the Christian sites use this tactic of false convert stories but it's not always possible to prove it.

2. http://www.faithfreedom.org/

AlhamduliLlaah I was able to catch another site posting fake stories of Muslims leaving Islaam. See the false information imparted here. That the attempt is deliberate is known through the claim that the 'convert' has done detailed study about the topic.

For Islamic Education, I had to study about marriage in detail to do well. So, I learnt all the stuff and got the highest grade anyone can get for Islamic Education. And guess what? Because I know it so well, I know that there is a lot of discrimination against women in Islam.

Things like a father and grandfather can marry a girl/woman to whomever they want even if the girl/woman doesn't want to marry that person… In addition, I learned things like women couldn't be witnesses in Syariah Courts and things like that . The first point here is a total lie whereas the second is a distorted version of the truth.

3. http://www.answering-islam.org/Testimonies/younathan.html

Here's yet another extract from a false convert story aimed at spreading misinformation about Islaam. As I started thinking about my life and the Quran, I realized all Muslims, even the prophet Muhammad, would go to Hell for certain sins they committed in their lifetime.

This is a common ploy of the Christian Missionaries. They first inform gullible victims that Jesus (God) is Love and just by believing in the Crucifixion, you will be assured of Paradise. Whereas the concept of God in Islaam is so harsh that no one will be spared from Hell and that even Prophet Muhammad (saw) was not sure of where he would end up. For this purpose they quote an ayat of the Qur'aan out of context.

Here there have gone a step further by saying that even our beloved Prophet (saw) would have to go through hell. Nothing could be further from the truth.

A FAKE AMERICAN QUR'AN (The FURQAN QUR'AN)

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1579211755/qid%3D1096805827/102-4933271-2395342

PLEASE DO NOT ignore this. FORWARD this to as many Muslims as you can. The new AMERICAN Qur'an:

a dangerous trick. A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait , titled 'The True Furqan'. It is being described as the verses of the Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out that the two American companies, 'Omega 2001' and 'Wine Press' are involved in the publishing of ' The True Furqan ', a book which has also been titled ' The 21st Century Qur'an '! It is over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and English languages...it is being distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private English schools!

The book contains 77 Surats, which include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer version of this incorporating the Christian belief of the three spirits. And this so called Qur'an opposes many Islamic beliefs. In one of its verses it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissible and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is HARAM.

This book even goes as far as attacking God Almighty Allah! All this is poisoning our children at approx. $3.

Brothers and Sisters please make sure you forward this email to as many people as possible so that we can

stop this dangerous trick.

May Allah reward you. Amin.

Asaduddin Owaisi, president of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) and Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP, described Vastanvi's statement as highly objectionable and condemnable. "Before making statements hailing Modi, Vastanvi should have paid a visit to Zakia Jafri, widow of Rajya Sabha MP Ehsan Jafri who was burnt alive during the riots or to the kin of the hundreds who were massacred. He should have checked with the Muslims who, even after nine years still languish in relief camps," Owaisi said.

"It is unfortunate that a person like Vastanvi is heading one of the most prestigious institutions of Muslims. I suggest that the elders of Darul Uloom should meet and take course correction measures soon," Owaisi pointed out.

Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, a renowned Islamic jurist and member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), said exonerating a zalim (tyrant) is like encouraging zulm (tyranny). It is the greatest injustice one can do to humanity.

"The Gujarat CM has never admitted the role of his government in the anti-Muslim riots, or apologised to the minority community. Getting justice is still difficult for Muslims in Gujarat. They are not allowed to set up educational institutions. Modi is a stain on the democratic and secular fabric of India. What was the motive behind the statement that there is no discrimination between minorities and the majority community in Gujarat?" he asked.

Head of the oldest seminary in the city, Jamea Nizamia, Maulana Syed Ali Akbar Nizamuddin said that Vastanvi does not represent the views of the Ulema (religious scholars) in the country or even that of Muslims in Gujarat. "If the situation in Gujarat is so good as has been described by Vastanvi, why then the CBI is seeking transfer of riot cases to courts outside Gujarat?" the Maulana asked.

Maulana Nizamuddin believes that the Ulema should refrain from making such political statements. "The reason behind Vastanvi praising Modi should be investigated by Dar-ul Uloom elders and they should take steps to save the reputation of the world renowned university", he said.

Personal relations behind rival's silence on Vastanvi's Modi praise?

NEW DELHI: In the chorus of protests that greeted new Deoband vice-chancellor Maulana Vastanvi's "certificate" to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, the deafening silence of Maulana Arshad Madani -- the man who lost to Vastanvi -- is speaking louder than the loudest hoots.

Arshad Madani is leader of one of factions of the Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind -- the clerical and political wing of the Deoband seminary -- is seen to be tied in personal bonds that prevent him from flaying Vastanvi as several Muslim leaders have.

Community leaders say the reason for Madani's reticence lies in the Maulana's son Habibullah being married to Vastanvi's daughter. The Maulana, who lost control over the Jamiat in a messy battle with his nephew and Rajya Sabha MP Maulana Mahmood Madani, has kept out of the controversy.

It being debated whether the elections -- in which Vastanvi got eight votes, Arshad Madani four and Abdul Khaliq Madrasi, the third contender, two -- were actually fixed.

Rivals of Madani and Vastanvi are asking about the role of an MP who was once close to Arshad, but backed Vastanvi in the Deoband poll. Vastanvi's reported proximity to the Modi dispensation, his numerous educational institutions in Gujarat and reports about an upcoming medical college are doing the rounds.

Since Vastanvi's spoke about the Modi government, the response from senior Madani's camp has only been that Arshad was busy discussing issues and meeting people. Despite repeated attempts no response was received from the Maulana.

"It does not gel. A man who has lost to another at a prestigious election so recently would, under normal circumstances, be critical even of his minor slip. In this case, the Maulana has not uttered a word at a comment that has sent shockwaves across the community," asked a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

The member wanted to know if the silence has to do with the two being related by marriage or because there is a "larger conspiracy to take over the world's largest religious seminary?"

Founded in 1866, Dar-ul-uloom is a Muslim school that propagates Sunni Islam. It has a very high standing among Muslims in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and more recently in Afghanistan, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

"The Bihar elections showed RSS and Modi that no matter what the stain of the riots would not go away anytime soon so they must have realised that they needed somebody with unassailable reputation to give a certificate. So they have wrangled this cerificate," said a Muslim cleric.

Most in the community seem to think the bitter fight between the two Madanis over the Jamiat-ulama-i-Hind a couple of years ago could be a reason for the Deoband seminary elections becoming so crucial. "The minority faction in Jamiat (Arshad Madani) felt if it can become the power behind the throne in Deoband it would get a legitimacy they lack," explained a former member of the Minorities Commission.

Robert Fisk: A new truth dawns on the Arab world

Robert Fisk: A new truth dawns on the Arab world

Leaked Palestinian files have put a region in revolutionary mood

Wednesday, 26 January 2011

The Palestine Papers are as damning as the Balfour Declaration. The
Palestinian "Authority" – one has to put this word in quotation marks –
was prepared, and is prepared to give up the "right of return" of
perhaps seven million refugees to what is now Israel for a "state" that
may be only 10 per cent (at most) of British mandate Palestine.

And as these dreadful papers are revealed, the Egyptian people are
calling for the downfall of President Mubarak, and the Lebanese are
appointing a prime minister who will supply the Hezbollah. Rarely has
the Arab world seen anything like this.

To start with the Palestine Papers, it is clear that the representatives
of the Palestinian people were ready to destroy any hope of the refugees
going home.
Related articles

It will be – and is – an outrage for the Palestinians to learn how their
representatives have turned their backs on them. There is no way in
which, in the light of the Palestine Papers, these people can believe in
their own rights.

They have seen on film and on paper that they will not go back. But
across the Arab world – and this does not mean the Muslim world – there
is now an understanding of truth that there has not been before.

It is not possible any more, for the people of the Arab world to lie to
each other. The lies are finished. The words of their leaders – which
are, unfortunately, our own words – have finished. It is we who have led
them into this demise. It is we who have told them these lies. And we
cannot recreate them any more.

In Egypt, we British loved democracy. We encouraged democracy in Egypt –
until the Egyptians decided that they wanted an end to the monarchy.
Then we put them in prison. Then we wanted more democracy. It was the
same old story. Just as we wanted Palestinians to enjoy democracy,
providing they voted for the right people, we wanted the Egyptians to
love our democratic life. Now, in Lebanon, it appears that Lebanese
"democracy" must take its place. And we don't like it.

We want the Lebanese, of course, to support the people who we love, the
Sunni Muslim supporters of Rafiq Hariri, whose assassination – we
rightly believe – was orchestrated by the Syrians. And now we have, on
the streets of Beirut, the burning of cars and the violence against
government.

And so where are we going? Could it be, perhaps, that the Arab world is
going to choose its own leaders? Could it be that we are going to see a
new Arab world which is not controlled by the West? When Tunisia
announced that it was free, Mrs Hillary Clinton was silent. It was the
crackpot President of Iran who said that he was happy to see a free
country. Why was this?

In Egypt, the future of Hosni Mubarak looks ever more distressing. His
son, may well be his chosen successor. But there is only one Caliphate
in the Muslim world, and that is Syria. Hosni's son is not the man who
Egyptians want. He is a lightweight businessman who may – or may not –
be able to rescue Egypt from its own corruption.

Hosni Mubarak's security commander, a certain Mr Suleiman who is very
ill, may not be the man. And all the while, across the Middle East, we
are waiting to see the downfall of America's friends. In Egypt, Mr
Mubarak must be wondering where he flies to. In Lebanon, America's
friends are collapsing. This is the end of the Democrats' world in the
Arab Middle East. We do not know what comes next. Perhaps only history
can answer this question.

Fear of Poverty

Mudahana is from the root word duhun, which means to cover something up with paint or cosmetics. Shaykh Muhammad al-Yadall says that mudahana is when a man "gives up his religion in order to secure his wealth or his blood, and sitting with the people of disobedience and keeping their company and praising their actions and displaying pleasure at their condition without condemnation." In our modern context, mudahana may be applied to a conspiracy of silence when it comes to other people's transgressions and blatant deviations. It is turning one's eyes away from those who commit abominations.

Fear of Poverty

Excerpt from Hamza Yusuf’s Purification of the Heart

Translation and Commentary of Imam Mawlud’s Matharat al Qulub

Fear of poverty is counted as one of the diseases of the heart.

Description: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&view=bsp&ver=ohhl4rw8mbn4

Fear of Poverty

Fear of poverty originates in having a bad opinion of [God] the Exalted, and its cure is in having a good opinion and knowing that what God possesses is never diminished in the least and that what has been apportioned to you will reach you inevitably.

One who uses his religion as a means of benefiting his worldly condition is a sycophantic hypocrite in his transaction, and he ultimately shall be the one defrauded.

The cure for fear of poverty is to have a good opinion of God, says the Imam.

Discussion

Fear of poverty is counted as one of the diseases of the heart. For the reasons that follow, scholars have said that nurturing this fear is tantamount to harboring a negative opinion about God the Exalted, who has revealed, Satan threatens you with poverty and he commands you to immorality. But God promises you His forgiveness and bounty (QURAN, 2:268). One of Satan's tactics is to keep people so occupied with the fear of losing their wealth they end up desperately clinging to their Money and depriving the needy—and themselves—of the goodness of giving for the sake of God. A person under the spell of irrational fear is more vulnerable to transgress laws, even to the point of indulging in lewdness, for the purpose of gaining profit and wealth.

God is the Provider and source of all wealth and comfort. He has promised that those who believe in Him and expend on behalf of the indigent shall receive a far more valuable return than the measure of what they spend. If one is to have fear, let it be of God, who has revealed: And whoever fears God, He will make for him a way out. And He will provide for him in a way he never expected. And whoever trusts in God, He is sufficient for him (QURAN, 65:2-3).

God exposed the disbelievers among the Quraysh who wanted to make deals and compromises with the Prophet, such that religion would become a way to tend to their worldly affairs.

Description: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&view=bsp&ver=ohhl4rw8mbn4

There is a stipulation in receiving this provision, namely, that one have true taqwa (or awe of God) and is nurturing of the condition that permits him or her to walk the earth with dignity.

The fear of poverty is an instrument of deception and common cause of misguidance. The American humorist Mark Twain once remarked, "Most of my problems, I never actually encountered." A person can grieve over a plethora of concerns and problems that he or she may never have to face. These phantom concerns can be controlling. A person who has wealth is constantly worried about his estate and its potential loss. Often, wealthy people enjoy no peace of mind and their lives are rife with conflict, contention, and treachery. There is a hadith that states, "Anxiety is half of aging." And there is another hadith that states, "Righteousness will lengthen your life." One interpretation of this hadith is that people who are righteous do not suffer anxiety that tears down the body and mind. They are content to do good and trust in God. It is usually the irreligious who are in a state of turmoil, their hearts never at ease.

The fear of poverty is an instrument of deception and common cause of misguidance. The American humorist Mark Twain once remarked, "Most of my problems, I never actually encountered."

Imam Mawlud ties "fear of poverty" with a kindred illness whose carrier is called in Arabic mudahin, a person who uses his religion as a means of buttressing his worldly condition. He is a "sycophantic hypocrite in his transaction" and ends up cheated in the most debased way. He compromises his religion in order to achieve worldly gain, often out of fear of poverty or sheer greediness.

God exposed the disbelievers among the Quraysh who wanted to make deals and compromises with the Prophet, such that religion would become a way to tend to their worldly affairs.God says about the disbelievers in Makkah, They would love that you [0 Muhammad] compromise so that they may compromise (QURAN, 68:9). The Quraysh desired that the Prophet praise their gods and their rituals even though he does not believe in them, and they, in turn, would not oppress the Prophet and the Muslims. With this deal, the Makkans could keep their grip on t:lie city and the trade caravans that come to it.

It is usually the irreligious who are in a state of turmoil, their hearts never at ease.

The great historian Ibn Khaldun quoted a poet's observation of the Muslim societies he came across: " We mend our livelihood with the cloth of our religion. In the end, nothing of the religion remains and our worldly condition goes unmended." God will never set aright one's worldly affairs when he or she destroys religion.

Wholesome thoughts about God express themselves in one's contentment with what he or she has, and not stretching one's eyes toward the assets of others.

Treatment

The cure for fear of poverty is to have a good opinion of God, says the Imam.God states, I do not desire from [people] any provision nor do I desire that they feed Me (QURAN, 51:57). People who harbor good thoughts about their Provider deflect insidious whisperings about Him and the subtle provocations that create irrational fear. His dominion is never diminished in the least when He gives to His creation all that they need. And if someone is given more than another, one should not harbor bad thoughts toward that person.Wholesome thoughts about God express themselves in one's contentment with what he or she has, and not stretching one's eyes toward the assets of others. The Prophet said, "Contentment is a treasure that is never exhausted."
